After initiating an investigation, you are expected to complete it within a reasonable amount of time (1 week). If unable to do so, you are to transfer the case to another detective. It’s imperative to maintain focus on lowering crime rates and resolving investigations promptly.

Please maintain proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar while typing up reports. Provide detailed accounts to ensure clarity. Utilize the provided logging formats within the WSP logging channel or a Google document template, as a substitute, sent to a division supervisor.

All investigations must be handled carefully and professionally, regardless of circumstances.

Please adhere to these rules and regulations at all times while holding a rank within the WSP Criminal Investigations division. Compliance is essential to your experience here at WSP.
