Uniforms must adhere to a realistic standard and may not violate the community’s rules and regulations in any way. You are permitted to wear the detective’s outfit inside of the PD locker room, and during undercover operations, you may use your own personal outfit or registered uniforms given to normal WSP troopers. However, all attire must stay realistic and be approved by the highest-ranking member of the division during that patrol, with some exceptions. Supervisors have discretion over their outfit choices and are not bound by this policy.
